Making the most of the holiday season

Well I've been trying to make the most of the reading period downtime of most publications (many are closed for submissions until next year) by working on some new stories.
The plan is that these will be ready to send out when the reading period resumes, giving me a greater chance to get a few stories into print by mid next year.
So far I've completed another two shorter peices; both inspired by ideas I'd had the night before.
It's nice to be able to sit down and work on something while the fires are still burning.
With such a hectic schedule I've had to put a lot of things on the shelf this year while I worked on school assignments and you forget how much easier an idea flows when you are pumped about it.
Hopefully readers (and editors) will see them as stronger stories because of this.

Also, remember to look out for my next published story: Hansel, Gretel and the Sugar Coated Diet in the Canadian anthology Champagne Shivers due out next month. Or not, it's up to you.

Congratulations on the publication.

I'm also havin' Christmas difficulties fittin' everythin' in.
